Unfortunately, all of the 'anti crashing' mods did not work for me.

Actually, the only mods I tried to use related to 'anti crashing' because Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas have a nasty habit of crashing. However, that particular game I was playing was 'vanilla' meaning that I did not use any mods (which could require other mods as well). There are other mods that people have installed that are considered 'essential', but to be honest, GFWL Disable live is the only program I used. I believe the program edits the Fallout.ini file to disable GFWL. But FO3 no longer need to have GFWL installed as long as you download and run the GFWL Disabler program. Doing so will also create the Fallout.ini and FalloutPref.ini filesĪt point you can you can simply continue to play the game. Starting a new games will create the directory where your save file will be saved to which should be as follows. Afterwards, you should be able to launch FO3 and start a new game. Afterwards, download the GFWL installer and run it. Something might have gone wrong during the installation process.
